DESCRIPTION:In commemoration of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day)\, join us for a conversation with Joshua M. Greene\, author of Unstoppable: Siggi B. Wilzig’s Astonishing Journey from Auschwitz Survivor and Penniless Immigrant to Wall Street Legend. Greene\, a lecturer on Holocaust history\, will be in conversation with Dr. Eva Fogelman\, a psychologist and pioneer in historical trauma research and therapeutic techniques for Holocaust survivors and their descendants. She is also an award-winning filmmaker.\n \nBJ is honored to host this event in grateful recognition of the Peaceman Foundation and Ivan Wilzig\, who have made a combined generous donation of $25\,000 in support of BJ’s volunteer vaccination program: Unstoppable: Siggi Wilzig’s Vaccination Project.  This gift is enabling BJ to expand its efforts within and beyond the Jewish community of New York City to ensure that everyone eligible for and interested in the COVID-19 vaccine receives it\, with particular emphasis on the elderly\, Holocaust survivors and immigrant communities.\n \nAttendees will receive a voucher for a complimentary copy of the book.\n \nCo-sponsored by the Blue Card Fund and the Hidden Child Foundation.
